About Sophia Beltz

Sophia is a singer, songwriter and performer from Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania. She's had a passion for music since a very young age. One of her early inspirations was Taylor Swift with “We are never getting back together” being the first song she sang publicly at the age of 8.

When she was 10 she taught herself to play the ukulele and continued on to the guitar and piano. She has spent the last 6 years writing songs reflecting her own life experiences which show wisdom beyond her years.

She began performing at open mics and on Rocking the Valleys internet radio show when she was 11 eventually leading to some paid shows around her hometown. In 2018 she performed at Musikfest’s Yuengling Lagerplatz stage in Bethlehem Pa. In 2019 at 13 she had the opportunity to sit on a panel in Anaheim California for GAMA (Guitars and Accessories Marketing Association) speaking about Women and Guitars in the Music Industry leading to an article in Music Trade magazine and teen spotlight article with GITC (see Guitars in the Classroom).

Sophia is a young girl with big dreams and a desire to continue creating songs that inspire people of all ages. Along with creating music, Sophia has a love for acting, and one day aspires to be in a Broadway production. She is currently preparing for the release of her new single along with a music video due out later this summer. Stay tuned for an announcement soon.
